Portable fencing needs no post holes. Panels are freestanding and link together on top of the ground, so there is no digging, no concrete and nothing to reinstate when they come down. That makes it workable on tarmac, paving or decking, and anywhere a boundary only needs to exist for a weekend.

The range is built around 6ft (180cm) wide white PVC panels: an open 3-rail at 3ft (91cm) high and a 2-rail at 4ft (122cm), both £99.95, plus a 2ft 8in (82cm) picket panel at £119.95. That picket is £199.95 with reinforced steel base plates, the version to pick for busier or uneven ground. A 33in picket gate gives you an opening, and 90° corner brackets from £10.95 square 2ft 8in picket runs into an enclosure.

Same weatherproof vinyl as our permanent ranges, so it wipes clean, and panels arrive flat-packed to stack away between uses. If the boundary itself needs to be permanent, price that up in the fence planner. Weigh the sums first in hire vs buy, and use trade enquiries for volume orders.
